The Restaurant Location Guidebook is a comprehensive guide to picking restaurant and quick service food locations. John C. Melaniphy was also the author of Restaurant & Fast Food Site Selection published in 1992 which is now out of print and outdated. Mr. Melaniphy is acutely aware of the failure rate in the foodservice business and has written this location guide to assist both existing operators to expand and new entrants to avoid mistakes. The Guidebook provides "the Tools" necessary to address a locational opporuntiy or problem, discusses "Application of the Tools" for the reader to assemble the needed facts, provides "Guidelines for selecting restaurant locations and guidelines for picking quick service food locations," and finally addresses "Secial Considerations" including Downtowns, Shopping Centers, Food Courts, Cannobolization of sales, buying and selling restaurants, and negotation suggestions. There is not another book like this "Bible of Foodservice locational Needs". |
